Washing Series, Odor

This topic covers diaper odor.

If you are reading this article it is because you have odor issues. If your diapers still smell of urine and ammonia even after being washed, or your diapers have a horribly strong odor immediately after your little one urinates then this is the article for you.

If they smell after your child pees, then chances are nothing is wrong, your kiddo likely just has stinky pee, it happens, really, everything is okay. Ever eat asparagus? Diet influences urine color and odor, try giving your kiddo more water or breast milk. Limit other liquids, make sure your child is urinating at least 6 times a day, make sure your little one is not showing signs of discomfort when urinating, and once sure that no uti is involved which it likely is not, then you can reassure yourself everything is fine. And really it is likely not the diapers, and most likely just an aging child's ever stronger urine scent.

If your diapers still smell after being washed, then they aren't clean. It really is that simple. So now it is time to look at your washing regimen and see what you need to do to fix things to get them cleaner.

If you are 100% sure they are clean then it is likely you have residue build up that is causing your issue.
Here is a good article on just how simple it is, this will give you the basic ideas you need.
